Clint wanted to let everyone know that "Sam' now has his family back and they are all safe and sound. :) That was an amazing turn of events with a very unexpected HAPPY ending! : ) CJ says thanks for your prayers. God is goooooooooood! : )

This is part of Clint's new base, Al-Kasik. Looks appealing, doesn't it?

He is now the official acting XO (Executive Officer) of his tenant command. Way to go LT!! :) I am so proud of you! Hurry home! We miss you!

CJ with his new friends...:)

This may look a little creepy...:) but it is a picture of Clint during one of our chat sessions. If the internet is working, we can video chat. So this is him, in all his cuteness! : ) You are so beautiful CJ!

Our Hermie.....
It was 2 years Aug. 31st that we moved from Sicily into our brand new home. :) Dareck and I did a lot of yard work last weekend. Where were you when I needed you Mom?? We have decided to put the house up for sale and see what happens. We would really like to have some land, so we will see if it is time to move or not.
If you would like to see the Virtual Tour, go to this website:

Look, Mom! : )

Welcome :)
Lady Bug and I have really enjoyed our evening walks thru the neighborhood trails. It is so peaceful and beautiful. We love to see our little critters every night. There are frogs, turtles, bunnies, kittens, a beaver or otter, colorful birds, deer.....I even saw a baby black bear running across the street outside of our neighborhood. He was sooo cute! Wonder where Moma was tho..... Come, take a walk with us and enjoy the beauty of our surroundings.

Look at those beautiful little creatures!

This is where we see the little bunnies.....:)

My turtle friends live here. ;)

Here's the cute little fella. He is camera shy......He used to have a partner but I have not seen him for quite some time....poor Spike..:(

This is where we see the little beaver or otter...not sure exactly what he is. But, I named him Spike. ;)

Part of the walking trail......

Some of my family: sister-bottom right, her hubby-far right, her daughter-far left, her son-in-law far left, my 4 great neices and nephew, and of course, my Mommy and Daddy in the middle. August 5th was Mom and Pop's 26th Anniversary and August 12th was my Dad's big 70th birthday. Love and miss you guys! :)

I could stay here forever....

Randy, enjoy it while you can! :)

Lady Bug and I had a really nice walk on the beach last weekend. She was not too happy with the water, but afterwards, I took her to Mickey D's for a 'cold frosty treat' (ice cream cone). Now THAT made her happy! :+)

Virginia Beach, Va. (Look familiar Mom?)

YIKES! I have to go to work now!!!

I had orientation for 2 weeks.

:) I am an RN, ya know! :) hee hee

Clint sent me this African Violet. He has been sooo wonderful about sending me flowers. Thanks Babe! :) We had our 21st Anniversary August 8th. I remember that day like it was yesterday. We were so young, so hopeful, so stupid, sooo in love, so pregnant! :) I would do it again Babe......Thanks for loving me. I love you and I am looking forward to the next 21 years. xoxo

Lady Bug wants Dareck's food. She is so intimidating. :)

Guitar Hero. I tried it...it is not as easy as you would think it to be. You have to follow along with the songs and hit the corresponding colored keys. He is pretty darn good. He still plays with his 'real' guitar too. He needs you Uncle Mark. You guys could jam together. :)
Dareck starts school Tues. I cannot believe our baby boy is a SENIOR! Time sure does fly by! He has had a good summer: concerts, Busch Gardens, skateboarding, lots of late nights with friends, beach, swimming, his new favorite thing, Guitar Hero....he can rock out on that thing! He continues to work at the diner as a dishwasher. He does a really nice job at making his Moma (Lady Bug) feel special. We have some fun. : )

We got his SENIOR pics back. They turned out very nicely. He has sooo much hair and looks so much like Clint did waaaaaaaay back in the day. I tease him and tell him I finally have my girl. He is soooo handsome; I just cannot believe my baby boy is 17 and a SENIOR! Brace yourself Grandparents...I do not foresee a haircut in the near future. If you would like to take a look at them, you can follow the directions below. You will have to make up an account, but it is easy and free. They are under James Waggoner.

Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeese :)

What a precious pug she is! Lady Bug is doing well, altho she is a little sick right now. She has an ear and a skin infection. But, she is taking her 3 different meds (plus, getting lots of extra luvin') and is feeling better. She will be celebrating her 7th bday on the 15th of this month. Happy Birthday Pug girl. We love you!

Where exactly is that water?....

Yeah they do!!!

Beach Pug! :)

hee hee hee....

ruff..............

hee hee hee....This is Lady Bug cooling off after one of our walks. She stands over the vent...she is so smart :)
Okay, I know I have been slow in updating lately, but we have not had a whole lot of excitement, so I gave you a little break :) As I write this at 2:30 am Sat. night, I am listening to my precious pug girl snoring and watching IRON CHEF AMERICA...I love these cooking shows! Dareck is at his friend, Nick's. He has been feeling well. Headaches are mostly gone and his fatigue is under control. I just chatted with Clint and he is doing well. It is still hot there but it is starting to cool off a bit, which helps. He is at a new base now. It is called Al-Kasik. Still in Northern Iraq, which is a good thing. And Randy had a great day at Six Flags in Ca. He and his buddies finally got to get up there and have some FUN for a change!

Last week, me and the girls from school went to the graduation of some former classmates. It was so nice to see everyone again. Congrats Graduates! I cannot believe it has been 4.5 months since our graduation...Val, Denita, we missed you! Amy, we will have to keep up with our weekly lunches...even tho those chimechangas are not in my diet! :) Danielle, howdy neighbor! Congrats on your new home! :)

I am staying up late tonight, trying to get myself geared up for my first night shift tomorrow.... I am giving nights a try....hard to pass up the extra money, plus I am sort of a night owl, so we will see how I do....Day or night, going back to the floor is a little scary. My last hospital was a looooooong time ago (1996-98) in Kingsville, Tx. I miss you girls! Wish you were here with me now. Oh boy, we had some fun! I am excited to get back to hands on nursing, but also know enough to know I have a right to be scared.....eeeeeeeeeeek!

As usual, this update is pretty long and includes a lot of pics...but it has been a long time so, we needed some fresh material. :)

I pray you are all well and happy. I think of you often and miss you all. Thank you for your prayers for us, especially Clint and Randy. They have had one heck of a year and I am convinced God has carried them (us) thru it all. I want to say a special CONGRATS to my Dad. He is now the Pastor of his own church! Way to go Pop! Clint's sister, Whitnie, is due any day now with baby #3. :) Heather, hang in there. Sis, you can do this. Chan, can't wait to see you Tues. : ) Paul, hope you are healing nicely. Markus, it will all work out. You did the right thing. Lynn, Nina, Gary, Kelsea, Renee', Betsy...HAPPY BIRTHDAY month. Joe and Suzanna....Happy love day! : ) Hope all of the kids (and parents) are adjusting to school. Betty Jean, you are all in my prayers.

Randy and Clint, we are holding down the fort for you. If all goes well, Clint will be home around Nov 30th (in time for my bday) and Randy will be home around Dec. 7th. I cannot wait for us all to be together again. Be safe, do your best and we will see you soon. I love you my sweets.

I think I covered all of my 'shout-outs.' I think of you all and pray for you daily. Happy Labor Day. I hope you can be with those you love...or at least like a whole heck of a lot! : )

Ciao for now,
Kathy :)

Randy's sunset.....

Oh how I would love to be right there.....right now....
