Over the bridge and into Philly we go!

When we got to the Aquarium, we looked and saw just how close we were to Philly....Naturally, our mouths started watering for a what.....??????......Yup! You guessed it!!!! A PHILLY CHEESESTEAK! We had to do it...: )

Pat's vs Gino's

We decided we wanted a REAL AUTHENTIC PHILLY CHEESESTEAK.....so we asked around and also called our best food expert friend, Chris Lowery---who happens to be from Jersey---all said the same thing...YA GOTTA GO TO PAT'S or GINO'S. Ironically, they are right across the street from each other and BOTH had lines around the restaurant and down the block. We chose GINO'S b/c it was the first place to have CHEESE on their sandwiches. And, had we had time, we would have done both for a taste comparison but we had our reservations at the TUN TAVERN in a couple of hours. It was DELICIOUS and well worth the wait. :-)

Tun Tavern, Atlantic City

Sat night after our Shark Adventure and our little trip over to Philly, we went to the only working brewery in Jersey, Tun Tavern. We had some really good food and drinks and enjoyed being together and reliving our awesome day. : ) When we leave here, we will be going back to the hotel to have Clint's actual Birthday Celebration! :)

Celebrating Clint's 40th

Yes, I am wearing a floatie......part of our Birthday Getaway Extravaganza includes each of us coming up with a 'What does _____ mean to me" gift. I chose a life preserver for my gift b/c, well, you guessed it....Clint is always there to save me, even from myself. ; ) ahhhhhhhhhh how sweet! I also wrote him a poem; Tom wrote a poem; and Chan gave him a weight b/c he is a source of strength to her. Pretty awesome huh!!! It is not all fun and games with us.....we get to the heart and soul of the matter too. ;) And why you ask.....b/c.............Laughter Through Tears is my Favorite Emotion! (that is a quote from Steel Magnolias for those of you who do not know.....duh!).

Tom and Clint are addicted to the game, World of Warcraft, also known as WOW. This is their reaction to us making fun of them.....They are spelling out W-O-W with their fingers and mouth..... What goobers!

We surprised Clint with a HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE!!!!!!!!! We drove about 1.5-2 hours northwest to Flemington, NJ. How fitting that the balloon had USA on it. :)
