Howdy, Howdy, Howdy!

How goes it? I hope this finds you doing well. Things are good here....could be better, could be worse. : ) Dareck has had a bad cold for the last two weeks and for the last week, I have been out of commission due to some sacroiliitis and bursitis in my hip. I feel so old! I am having to see a chiropractor. The pain is pretty severe but each day it is a little better. I had to miss work a couple of days last week, which I felt bad about, but there was no way I could have worked. But, as I said, I am getting better each day. Trying to rest and take it easy (I am sittin on my ice pack at this very moment). Dareck has been super to his Moma. :) And of course, I have had a surplus of pug luv. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes.

Clint- is doing well. We are on the home stretch!!! He COULD be home as early as March but will probably be April. Regardless, we are getting close and we are thrilled!!!! : ) If you were wanting to send him anything, it would be best to get it in the mail asap. I am so absolutely ecstatic to be able to FINALLY say this to you! I know you all have your own lives, your own problems, but please know that I, we, deeply appreciate you taking the time to remember us, pray for us. And for those of you who sent CJ goodies, THANK YOU. It all means more than you will ever know.

Randy- is doing well. We will be seeing him soon and I cannot wait!! Hooyah!!

Dareck- well, he will be graduating in FOUR months!! I cannot believe it. He is going to be looking for another job once he starts feeling better. His diner closed down. He has a girlfriend that he is crazy about...Misty. When she comes over next time, I will get a picture of her. She is a cutie and they are adorable together.

We have started a new adventure around here.....We have decided to be a part of something wonderful and add to our family...We are now fostering PUGS! (come on...are you really surprised???). The pictures below show our first little girl, Maggie. She is a sweetie and we are sooo happy to have her. We have found her a home and after she is spayed March 12th and recovers, she will join her new family. For now, we are enjoying every day with her. Her family did not want her anymore. Take a look at the organization. If you want to be an angel for a pug, that would be wonderful. :)

Lady Bug is happy with the new addition but would be happier if Maggie played, but Maggie is still recovering from her previous life so she sleeps a lot. As you can imagine, I am in PugLuv Heaven!!! : ) What better way for me to honor my sweet Charlie Bell than to help these little guys be loved and find loving homes.

Have a great day. As always, you are welcome to leave comments, and if you click on the pictures, they get larger.

Until next time....

K.

We went for a walk and it was cold and windy outside, so the pug had to be bundled up. : ) She was not too thrilled, as you can see, but she adjusted. :)
