Yesterday was 6 months since we lost our sweet Charlie Bell. I thought I would put some pics up so you can remember what a handsome boy he was. :)

Charlie, I miss you as much today as I did the very day you left. We all love you. You remain a very important part of our family and our memories. Forever and Always, you will be loved, cherished and missed. Love, Your Pug Moma :)

yes, this is actually Lady Bug. The older she gets, the more she looks like Charlie Bell.....VERY much so at times.....it is soooo amazing. Her neck is shaved here, altho you cannot see it that well. She has a skin infection so they shaved parts of her to help with her healing. She was NOT a happy pug yesterday at the Vet...so to cheer her up, we had to go to Sonic and get a 'cold frosty treat' (an ice cream cone). She LOVES them!!

Well...as you can imagine, we had the BEST time with Randy this past weekend. How WONDERFULLY FANTASTIC it was to have my boys together again. Randy looks beyond good. Now he is back in San Diego on his last leg of training. From this point on, I will not be able to provide any information, other than how he is doing. Top Secret! :) Dareck and I are now back to life with just the two of us, with Lady Bug, of course. When Randy left last night, I told Dareck he and I will have to go away once Randy and Clint are home so they can know what it is like to be left. :)

Having Randy here felt soooooooo good. It was strange, however, to have a son that 'comes home' to visit. I cannot believe he is almost 21, that he is a grown man, and no longer lives at home.....This is uncharted territory, but I am loving the adventure and there is no way I could be any more proud of either of my boys. I am blessed beyond belief and I have no idea what I did to deserve them. Dareck and I are sad that Randy is gone...CJ did make it better for me tho. He sent me the most beautiful flowers. He is too good to be true. :) Thanks Herman! You rock!!! Now, we just have to wait till Dec. and we can do it all again, and this time, we will have Pappy with us. : )

The Meehans met us halfway (a little over an hour each way) last night and we had dinner at Cracker Barrel and then went over to Starbucks to hang out. They loved seeing Randy again, and as always we had fun. Let's just say Maggie has more than a little crush on the Waggoner brothers...and with good reason, I would say :) hee hee hee....
